Our martingale collars are available in 3/4" and 1" widths for medium & large dogs.

Note: Martingale collars are designed for training and leash walking. For the safety of your pet, they should not be left on an unattended or unleashed dog. For the safety of your pet, we do not make martingale collars for puppies or small dogs.

How do I choose a width?

What size martingale collar should my dog wear?

Medium Dogs - Collar circumference 10"-20" by 3/4" wide

Large Dogs - Collar circumference 15"-27" by 1" wide

For accuracy, measure the dog's neck and head comfortably snug against the fur.
Both measurements are essential to ensure the collar will slide easily over the head and can then be adjusted to a comfortable fit around the neck.

Take the actual measurements and add 5% to each to determine the best size range. Both measurements must fall within the selected size range.

Example: Actual measurement is 20" + 5% = 21"
